We at Dageraad Stud are excited to announce that we have invited Adelinde Cornelissen, number one Ranking World Cup Winner and Olympic showjumper Albert Voorn including lunging specialist Lammert Haanstra & Pieteke de Reus to Cape Town, they will each hold 6 clinics per day over a three-day period: DAGERAAD HORSE EVENT 23 – 25 SEPTEMBER 2011 AT GLENELLEN FARM HOUTBAY We intend making the Dageraad Horse Event a very exciting event, there will be food stalls, tack shops and lectures on horse related subject’s, it will be fun and informative for spectators and participants alike. WE ARE TAKING RESERVATIONS FOR THE CLINICS SO HURRY AS THEY ARE FILLING UP FAST! Adelinde Cornelissen has competed for the Netherlands since she was a child predominantly in Dressage however she also showjumped up to 1.30m and did x-country eventing. This year she became the World Cup Winner on her fabulous horse Parzival. Albert Voorn showjumped from a young age and won many titles including world championships and a silver medal at the 2000 Olympics. He has recently started competing again as he has been asked to ride Lexington (Adiama x Dageraad) and is preparing for selection for the Dutch National Show Jumping Team. Dageraad Stud will follow this with great enthusiasm. Lammert Haanstra is the lungeing expert in Europe; he is one of the very few people who have made a science out of lungeing. Lammert will give lessons on how to lunge a horse properly, show how your horse should move, how to get the most out of your horse and give sit lessons to people on the lunge. We are truly privileged to have riders of this caliber coming to South Africa to share their knowledge.
